About this lesson
This is another video in the Transition Matrices course part of the Year 12 General Maths (VCE Units 3 and 4) course. Building on the work we have been doing in the previous lessons, I now look at what happens we we add "fixed additions" to matrices. Much like we did with Financial Mathematics, we can use a formula to go from state to state. I also spend time showing how the process can be reversed. There are a number of worked examples and I use some VCAA questions to show how tricky things can get. Please remember, for this content, it's important to understand the numbers in the Matrices and now just how to put it into your CAS.
