About this lesson
This video continues the series relating to Matrices (forming part of the Year 11 General Maths course). In this video I look at the important topic of Transition Matrices. These are used to help us model and track changes from one state to another in real world situations. I look at what it means to be a transition diagram and a transition matrix and how we can convert between the two. I also look at how to read and interpret Transition Matrices. There are a number of worked example explained in an easy to understand way.
