About this lesson
This video is the next video in the series looking at sequences. It is important to understand the difference between a rule and a recurrence relationship. This video looks at how we can find the nth term of a geometric sequence and how we can use it to find an term in the list. Knowing how to relate a common ratio and percentage increase or decrease is a handy skill which is used a lot in General Maths Units 3 and 4. The video is explained in my usual manner ensuring that it is easy to follow with lots and lots of worked examples. There is also an example of how we can apply this learning in real life using geometric sequences.
