About this lesson
This is another video in the Year 11 General Maths (Units 1 and 2) course relating to measurement, scale and similarity. As we head towards the end of this module of work. I look at the idea of similar figures. I look at what similarity is and how we can find the scale factor of enlargement (or the scale factor of the sides). Knowing this I then look at how we can use this to find the scale factor of areas. There are lots of worked examples and I make sure the theory is explained in an easy to understand way.
